This weekend saw some needed repairs to the old '72 Cheyenne. A new power steering pump installed, as well as new thermostat and water neck. Trying to get the old chevy ready for another winter in Chicago. So far, the chevy has seen a healthy list of upgrades/repairs since it was purcahsed in the spring of 2005; New brakes all around, new shocks and springs, new ball joints and bushings, new carburator, spark plugs and wires, oil and air filters, thermostat and water neck, new water pump, new power steering pump, new battery and battery cables, new truck-bed panels, and we even installed an original am radio. She may not look like much, but shes got it where it counts. The best indication of this old girls performance- second and third gear rubber when standing on the throttle. Sure its a real light rear end being a pickup and all, but I'd like to see that happen with someones new dodge ram. Hemi my ass!
